What is a driver? A driver is a piece of software that enables communication between different pieces of hardware or between software and the hardware, by providing specific instructions to a mouse, to be recognized by the PC.
Larger and more complex pieces of hardware have more intricate drivers which are sound card drivers and graphic drivers. Therefore, to transmit an audio signal to the speakers or to the headphones, the driver links the sound card to the motherboard of the PC and also, it does the same for the graphic card, allowing you to see the displays of either games or videos.
